Giving our first grandbaby, Alyssa back to Jesus shortly after her arrival, was one of the hardest things to go through! During the first twelve hours after baby girl was born, the doctors were optimistic (even though she was only 24 weeks in the womb).
Alyssa’s Mommy & Daddy were hopeful, but no matter how many prayers sent and how advanced the medical teams, she took a turn for the worst. Their first child was called home.
The hurt and the pain of watching your children hurt is indescribable; not only losing their first child, but going home to an empty crib, and faced with making funeral arrangements.
At only 1 lb. 10 oz. and a little over a foot long, finding a gown was difficult! A dear friend reached out to one of her friends that swept in like an angel to make Alyssa the most beautiful, custom-made dress! It was perfect! We were and will always be so thankful for her kindness! We promised to never forget it!
